Trauer um Paul F. Iams

Paul F. Iams, der Pionier der modernen Tiernährung, verstarb am 26. Oktober 2004 im 90. Lebensjahr.

Im Jahr 1946 gründete Paul F. Iams die Iams Company und brachte im Jahr 1950 mit "Iams 999" den Vorläufer der heutigen "Eukanuba Veterinary Diets" auf den Markt. Forschung und Entwicklung blieben seither die tragenden Säulen der Iams Company

Jeff Ansell, President -- Global Pet Health & Nutrition der Iams Company - schreibt in seiner Würdigung:

Paul's passion for pet well-being – for creating the world's best dog and cat food – lives on today in our products and in each and every one of us. Paul was truly the father of nutritional healthcare, with quality as the cornerstone of everything he did and continuous innovation as his standard. He believed in treating people with dignity and respect, the way any of us would want to be treated, and that's how he ran the business. It is through Paul's visionary leadership that dogs and cats worldwide today are having their lives enhanced by Eukanuba and Iams Dog and Cat foods.

Paul will be missed, but his legacy will live on forever through The Iams Company."
