British companies place emphasis on new product launches at Interzoo

Twenty British manufacturers of products for the international pet trade will be exhibiting their latest product innovations at Interzoo 2006, as part of a UK group organised by the Federation of Garden & Leisure Manufacturers.  

Fourteen of the companies will be located in the British Pavilion in Hall 9, and the remainder will be exhibiting independently in halls 1, 4, 6 and 9.  The British government has demonstrated its support for UK pet equipment firms that wish to export by providing funding towards all the participants’ exhibition space and stand costs.

The British companies include previous exhibitors at Interzoo as well as a number of firms making their debut.  The wide-ranging products on show, many of which will be new to the international pet trade, comprise pet foods, housing, bedding, grooming, repellents, wild bird foods and numerous other accessories for the pet industry.  The aquatics sector is also well represented with a variety of feeds, supplements, water treatments and decorative plants.  In addition the Pet Care Trust will be promoting its range of training and education services within the British Pavilion.

International buyers wishing to source British products will have the dedicated export services of the Gardenex federation at their disposal at Interzoo.  The federation works closely with the British government department, UK Trade & Investment, to help create new business relationships between British manufacturers and buyers in overseas markets.  International buyers and distributors will find a warm welcome on the Federation’s stand (9-459.3 in Hall 9).
